A large selection of the Tottenham faithful are now tearing their hair out!
Why is it Tottenham that always succeed in pushing players at other clubs to Tweet their disappointment over a non transfer?
Last summer it was Morgan Schneiderlin, today it was Saido Berahino. Spurs fans are probably bracing themselves for a bigger club to nab the West Brom forward in January, or next summer, just like the debacle over the now Manchester United midfielder a year ago.
The bottom line is that Tottenham now have three strikers in their first team squad, according to the official club website.
But, its really only one. Harry Kane better not get injured or suspended this season…
Emmanuel Adebayor was close to leaving for West Ham but the two sides could not agree a pay-off of the final year of his contract.
Meanwhile, the third striker on the Spurs website is Heung-Min Son. Which is probably news to Bayer Leverkusen fans.
Son is a wide forward at best. And, the club were forced earlier today to Tweet an angry fan who suggested Spurs had attempted to save face by moving the position of the South Korean…
@ParkLaneDicko Son’s position on our website has NOT changed since he went on this morning as a forward. He was never listed as a midfielder
