Why Tottenham fans are furious at Arsenal’s goal

Arsenal lead the 184th North London derby at the Emirates by two goals.

Goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez have handed the Gunners the lead.

However, their first goal was a controversial one, with Spurs fans unhappy over the free-kick being awarded.

The incident

Davinson Sanchez’s tackle on Alexis Sanchez earnt the Gunners a free-kick 25 yards outside the visitor’s penalty area.

The tackle appeared to be a fair one, with Spurs’ central-defender winning the ball, but was adjudged to have pulled the Chilean back.

The foul appeared to be contentious and Spurs fans are furious with the incident.
