Social media reacts to Spurs’ White Hart Lane farewell

As Premier League fans all over the world will be aware, today’s Tottenham vs Manchester United matchup in the Premier League marks the end of an era, as the London side get set to say goodbye to their home of almost 120 years.

New home

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will play their home games at Wembley for the whole of next season, while the construction of their new, 61,000 seater stadium is being finished.


Opened in 1899 after its construction a year earlier, White Hart Lane has seen generation after generation of Spurs’ fans step through its famed gates down through the years, with the Premier League runners-up-to-be looking to finish on a high with a victory this afternoon.
