Still got it: Ronaldinho bags brilliant goal & assist in Mexico peace match (videos)

Ronaldinho. Has. Still. Got. It

At the ripe old age of 37, Ronaldinho is still performing magic on the football pitch.

It might not be in professional games, but there is little doubt that Ronaldinho is still bringing joy to lovers of the Beautiful Game.

On Saturday, Ronaldinho met up with legendary Barcelona team mate Carles Puyol for a “peace” match in Mexico.

Ronaldinho returned to Queretaro to play a friendly game in search of world peace.

The 2002 World Cup winner played for Queretaro in 2014/2015.

Ahead of the game, Ronaldinho said: “I’m happy to return to my home, I’m happy to return to Mexico, to a city where they treated me very well.”

Ronaldinho was the star attraction in the match between the Stars of Europe and the Stars of America.

As a result, Ronaldinho and Puyol were on opposite sides.

Europe took the lead through Fernando Meira.

Ronaldinho drew his side level with a Golazo to light up the occasion as he scored from way out, catching the goalkeeper of his line.

“Gracias Ronaldinho”

Europe retook the lead, only for Ronaldinho to respond with a quite awesome assist.

Gabriel was the goal scorer for the South Americans, but it was made easy thanks to Ronaldinho’s flick up and pass.

The Stars of America went onto win the game 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out.
