Man United 2 – Huddersfield 0
Following the midweek 2-0 defeat against Tottenham, Manchester United returned to winning ways on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho’s men had a relatively comfortable match as they beat Huddersfield 2-0.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the day was that Huddersfield held United at bay for the first half.
Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku broke the deadlock in the second half.
Lukaku volley home a left wing cross from Juan Mata. He’s now scored 19 goals in all competitions this season, and 12 in the Premier League.

Man United’s second was a first for new boy Alexis Sanchez.
After the Chilean was hacked in the Huddersfield box by Michael Hefele the ref instantly pointed to the spot.
But Alexis got lucky with what happened next. The Chilean’s spot kick was saved by Huddersfield goalie Jonas Lossl, but he scored the rebound.
Lukaku’s new Adidas contract?
During the Huddersfield game, a few eagle-eyed fans paid attention to Romelu Lukaku’s footwear.
Lukaku has been wearing various boots this season. They have included old editions from Nike or blackouts.
Many footballers wear all-black boots or old styles when they are in contract negotiations with kit manufacturers.
But against Huddersfield, Lukaku had new boots on. The Belgian debuted the brand-new Adidas ‘Cold Blooded’ X 17+ boots.
In other news, Lukaku is wore an adidas X boots today! 💪🏾💪🏾

There has so far been no confirmation that Lukaku has teamed up with Adidas. However that’s the most natural reason to explain why the Man United star got to wear the fresh new boots.
Of course, Man United’s kits are made by Adidas as well.
