Scottish football’s Old Firm derby is back!
One of British football’s great rivalries is renewed today when Glasgow’s two powerhouses, Rangers and Celtic, meet in the semifinal of the Scottish Cup.
Rangers have already secured promotion back to the big time next season, following four years outside the SPL.
While the quality of football on show on Sunday may not be the best, the atmosphere off the pitch should be of the highest order.
In fact, the local rivalries were stepped up a notch overnight, when some unknown Rangers fans decided to troll several Celtic pubs.
According to reports on social media, Rangers fans painted the curbs outside some well known Celtic pubs in Glasgow red, white and blue.
Clearly furious at seeing those colours first thing on Sunday morning, Celtic fans were later pictured spray painting the curbs green and white.
