The Premier League has served up some excellent football on Saturday but there are some world superstars enjoying themselves in warmer climes today.

PSG beat Caen on Wednesday in Ligue 1. The likely French champions don’t play again until January 7, 2018.

Neymar had been with his PSG team mates in Doha but returned to Brazil on Saturday for a charity match.

Neymar stars in Brazil charity match

The Brazilian attacker travelled to Sao Paulo for a charity match lead by Nene, who plays in the NBA.

The charity match, held in Jundiai, is called “Only the ball should be hungry” and according to reports collected 30 tons of food for needy children.

Neymar only arrived for the second half but did not disappoint with a simply outstanding goal – even if it was a charity match.

The final score in the charity match was 11-7, to Nene’s team.

Neymar played for both the side captained by Nene and the other, lead by Brazilian actor Caio Castro.

After the game, the Neymar spoke briefly to the Brazilian media.

Neymar declared that PSG vs Real Madrid in the Champions League knockout rounds is the “final that most expected.”

Even though the Neymar goal came in a charity match, it has already been described by the Brazilian media as a “painting”.

Neymar is played through on goal, goes left away from the goalkeeper, then finds a brilliant chip to beat the returning defenders and custodian.

As you might expect, the crowd, who hadn’t seen Neymar in the first half, absolutely loved it!
