Tottenham & Moussa Sissoko
One of the more surprising aspects of Tottenham’s season so far has been how much playing time Moussa Sissoko have received.
Sissoko, a 35 million pound signing from Newcastle, struggled to impress in his first season at Spurs last term.
Indeed, it’s widely understood that Mauricio Pochettino was prepared to allow the French international to leave the club in the summer.
The only reason Sissoko is still a Spurs player is because there were a lack of offers for the Tottenham midfielder.
But the 28-year-old has managed to revive his Spurs career this season. He’s made eight appearance in the Premier League (including four starts), while he scored in a 4-0 win at Huddersfield.
Moussa Sissoko v Real Madrid
Will Moussa Sissoko start for Spurs against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday?
That’s unlikely, but the French midfielder does have a new Tottenham song.
Spurs fans in Madrid on Monday night belted out the new tune. The words are as follows:
Wake me up! Before you go, go. Who needs Bale when you’ve got Sissoko?!
