If Man City are to be caught in the Premier League this season, could Chelsea be the team to catch them?

The reigning Premier League champs chalked up a brilliant win at West Brom on Saturday.

West Brom never seemed capable of getting back into the game after Alvaro Morata opened in the 17th minute from an Eden Hazard assist.

Hazard doubled Chelsea’s lead soon after after Morata turned provider.

Marcos Alonso scored a third before the break from a set-play as Chelsea won the match before the break.

Hazard doubled his tally just after the hour mark as West Brom’s humiliation continued.

Alvaro Morata on fire

Spanish international Alvaro Morata is now the joint second top goalscorer in the Premier League.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is the leader with nine goals in 12 matches.

But Morata’s goal at the Hawthorns lifted his to eight goals in the EPL. That’s level with Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.

After scoring against the Baggies, Morata made the sign of an ‘A’ with his fingers.

After the game, Morata took to social media to explain what the celebration was all about.

He revealed that it was a reference to is wife Alice, writing: “Always A I love u so much.”

Morata married Alice back in the summer before he completed his move to Stamford Bridge.
