Mohamed Salah is on fire
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
After opening for the Reds on Saturday against Chelsea in front of the Kop, Salah became the first player to reach double figures for goals in this year’s Premier League.
The Egyptian has 10 goals in the league, and 15 goals in 20 matches in all competitions.
For the record, Philippe Coutinho was Liverpool’s top scorer last season with 14 goals in all competitions.
Liverpool 1 – Chelsea 1
After a goalless first half, Liverpool broke the deadlock through Salah following good work from Coutinho and poor defending from Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Chelsea snatched a point in the final minutes of the game.
Antonio Conte brought Willian off the bench with six minutes to go, and less than two minutes later later the Brazilian floated the ball over Simon Mignolet’s head.

During the Liverpool v Chelsea game, a couple of photos started doing the rounds from inside Anfield.
Reports filtered out that Mohamed Salah had a special guest at the Chelsea game.
He invited former Zamalek SC owner Mamdouh Abbas to watch the game in person on Merseyside.

Mamdouh Abbas, say the legends, refused to sign Salah earlier in his career because he didn’t think he’d be good enough.
After the game, Salah also took a photo with Mamdouh Abbas and his family.
