Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko
Hours before the summer transfer window closed, Tottenham signed Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle.
The French international has been involved in a couple of Spurs matches since his move, while over the weekend Sissoko suffered a head injury in the away win at Boro.
Sissoko was substituted in the 70th minute with suspected concussion, and after the match manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed the midfielder would be assessed on Sunday.
Spurs return to Champions League action this week when they head to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow.
Monaco beat Tottenham 2-1 in their opening UCL game, while CSKA drew 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen.
The likes of the AFP are reporting that Sissoko is an injury doubt for this week’s match in Russia.
At the same time, the player himself has taken to social media to give his update. According to the player, “everything is fine” and he’s seemingly available for the CSKA game.
