BT Sport have the rights to broadcast Chelsea’s Champions League match with PSG on Wednesday night.
That meant that English TV audiences had to listen to the awful commentary of Michael Owen once again.
Owen is wholly loathed for his punditry skills.
Despite having played at the highest level in the game, for the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Real Madrid, Owen leaves audiences wondering he actually knows the rules of the Beautiful Game.
Owen made some bizarre remarks about the offside rule during the Champions League tie, while in general fans couldn’t help themselves turning to social media to voice their hatred of Owen’s supposed insights.
