Brighton vs Arsenal
Another match, another disaster for Arsenal.
But at this stage, is anyone even surprised at the moment?
It took Brighton just seven minutes to break the deadlock against the Gunners.
As is so often the case, Arsenal started brightly in the opening exchanges. But a set-play was all it took for Arsenal’s backline to fall apart and concede.
Lewis Dunk scored his first Premier League goal of the season to fire the Seagulls ahead.
And it was no surprise when Brighton doubled their lead through Glenn Murray in the 26th minute.
Mesut Ozil after Glenn Murray’s goal
Murray was gifted so much space to head home Brighton’s second of the game.
After the ball went into the net, the TV camera panned to the reaction of Mesut Ozil.
Ozil, who is often accused of not doing enough, and who had done little to hurt Brighton, reacted badly after the Murray goal.
The German World Cup winners angrily took off his gloves as he acted out.
As reported by the BBC, Ozil’s body language was such that he gave off the message: ‘This is everyone else’s fault. I can’t deal with this!’
Ozil, for the record, recently signed a brand new contract extension with the Gunners.
Does that deal already look like a huge mistake?

Ozil has thrown his gloves off, he's fuming. Shaking his head, muttering under his breath, arms in the air. Looks like he's suffering as much as any fan.

Mesut Ozil's game has really gone up a level since he signed his massive new contract.
From 'invisible fanny' to 'grumpy invisible fanny'.
