Man United’s official Twitter is incredibly cocky after Crystal Palace

Man United 4 – Crystal Palace 0

It was another brilliant weekend for Manchester United.

Man United came into proceedings having won 7 of their 8 fixtures across all competitions so far this season.
Crystal Palace, by contrast, were yet to earn a point or even score a goal in the Premier League.

That continued at Old Trafford as United beat Palace 4-0. Goals from Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini (2) and Romelu Lukaku have left the Eagles looking dead-certs for relegation.

Getting cocky on Twitter

The win also kept Man United flying high at the top of the Premier League table.

And, as many Man United fans will know, Jose Mourinho is famed for winning domestic titles in his second seasons at his clubs.

He did that at Porto, twice at Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

The win also saw Man United win and score four goals yet again this season. The Red Devils have scored four in games against West Ham, Swansea, Everton, Burton, CSKA Moscow and now Palace.

With all that being said, Man United’s official Twitter was incredibly cocky on Saturday night.

In a couple of tweets, the account joked about how Man United are scoring four goals for fun this season.

But would it be wise for the Twitter account to be a bit more humble? If Jose Mourinho had been asked to hand pick Man United’s easiest opening fixtures possible, the 2017-18 run would have been close to the Special One’s best dream.

Harder games are on the horizon for Man United. They take on Liverpool after the international break, while they also take on Tottenham at the end of October.
