Manchester United’s Luke Shaw may be recovering from a serious injury, but the England defender is still clearly keeping a keen eye on football gossip.
On Saturday, the Daily Mirror splashed on their front page some big news regarding two alleged gay footballers in the Premier League.
As a result of the story, social media was rife with suggestions of which two Premier League players are about to “come out”.
Amongst the most heavily suggested was Luke Shaw.
But, the former Southampton left back quashed these rumours with a Tweet replying to a Manchester United Twitter account.
Hopefully, if/when, the two Premier League players come out as homosexual, they will be treated with understanding and compassion. It is 2015 after all…
Louis van Gaal said on Friday that Shaw has a 50/50 chance of making Euro 2016 next summer.
@UnitedStandMUFC it's not me ✌🏼 so everyone can shut up now 😀
