Will Jose Mourinho be banned vs Chelsea?
On Tuesday morning reports spread that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho may be banned for the upcoming game against Chelsea.
Chelsea host Man United after the international break.
Mourinho may be punished for his behaviour after last weekend’s win over Newcastle.
The FA are looking into two issues.
Firstly, Mourinho is accused of swearing in Portuguese. Secondly, there’s the issue of Mourinho’s cryptic little finger gesture.
Man United fans vs Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp
As news of Mourinho’s possible ban spreads, Man United fans are hitting back at the charges on social media.
Their tactic? Turn focus onto Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Two incidents involving Klopp have been flagged up.
The first harks back to Liverpool’s Premier League match against Chelsea at Anfield in January.
During that game the Liverpool boss was filmed screaming at the fourth official on the sidelines.
Klopp was never punished by the FA for that behaviour.
Did FA investigate this? Any closer, this could have been a case of battery too. But sure, Mourinho showing his little finger and talking to a camera is worse. What a joke! #MUFC #Mourinho pic.twitter.com/Auc5vyUfpZ

Man United have also picked up on a memorable occasion when Jurgen Klopp publicly swore after a match.
After Liverpool beat Man City 4-3 in the Premier League last season, Klopp dropped an f-bomb on NBC.
Was Klopp punished for that? No, he wasn’t.

Wayne Rooney precedent
But should Man United fans be more concerned with a previous incident involving Wayne Rooney?
Back in 2011, Man United’s Rooney was hit with a two match ban after he swore into a TV camera after scoring a hat-trick against West Ham.
