Man United to boxing: Gary Neville trolls Rio Ferdinand about his new career

Rio Ferdinand & Boxing

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has got a lot of people excited as he’s announced a new sporting career.

He’s moving from the football field into the boxing ring, although it’s unclear who he’ll fight first.

Ferdinand, now 38, spent 12 trophy-laden years with Manchester United between 2002 and 2014, going on to establish himself as one of the finest central defenders in the history of the Premier League.

He has made a successful transition into punditry since calling time on his playing career in 2015, but is now set to announce an altogether different sporting venture.
