Mohamed Salah on Instagram
This is brilliant news for both Liverpool and Egyptian football fans.
Mohamed Salah has updated his social media accounts overnight on Sunday.
Salah, of course, was forced out of the Champions League final after he was taken out by Sergio Ramos.
Many have feared that Salah, who suffered a shoulder injury against Real Madrid, would miss the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
However Salah has again allayed those fears with his latest update.
Salah posted a photo performing shoulder exercises with the solitary word “soon”.
The message is clear: Salah will be available for Egypt at the World Cup. Yet, fans may still fret about just how healthy and in shape Salah will be.
Egypt & 2018 World Cup
Egypt have a great chance to make the second round at the World Cup.
The Pharaohs have been drawn in a group with hosts Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
For the record the Egyptians have been to just two World Cups in their history and have scored just three goals.
