It’s Monday, but for once Juan Mata isn’t really blogging.
The Manchester United midfielder has today suspended his usual chunky blog post in light of Man United’s poor form.
Mata, who has struggled to impress along with many of his teammates in recent weeks has been criticised for being a ‘part time footballer, full time blogger’ in the past.
And yet the Spanish midfielder still managed to post a brief update. He wrote:
This is not the time to write or to read…
…since so many things have been said in the last few days… It’s time to stick together and this streak will change, I’m sure of that. Both you and us want the best for the club, and the best way to achieve it is through unity. Thank you for your support.
The Red Devils are currently on a four game losing streak, while they take on Chelsea at Old Trafford later today.
Manchester United last lost five competitive games in a row in 1936.
Surely if that happens Louis van Gaal is a goner. He won’t see out the day.
Some Man United fans have reacted to Mata’s tweet informing his followers of his non blog post, blog post in mean fashion.
Those tweets are below.
