Paul Pogba

Garth Crooks will be furious when he sees Paul Pogba’s new look

Man United & Paul Pogba

It’s not been the best few weeks for Paul Pogba at Man United.

Having started the season looking far improved from last season, Pogba picked up an injury in the Champions League win over Basel.

The French international and Man United’s record signing hasn’t played since.

Jose Mourinho gave limited updates on Pogba in his latest presser on Tuesday, as fans wait to see if Pogba needs to go under the knife.

Initial reports suggested Pogba will be out for six weeks, although there have been suggestions Pogba will be out for three months.

On Monday, French daily L’Equipe provided quotes from doctor Sakari Orava, the Finnish surgeon who is looking after the Man United star. He’s said:

(Pogba’s) injury is somewhat different from that of (Barcelona’s) Ousmane Dembele. It can be cured without surgery and a decision will be made next week.

Paul Pogba’s new look

As he waits to find out the extent of his injury timetable, Pogba has revealed his new look on social media.

After Man United drew 2-2 away at Stoke, Pogba was memorably criticised on the BBC website by Garth Crooks.

Crooks wrote the following about the former most expensive player in world football:

I also want to discuss Paul Pogba’s new hairstyle, which features a red streak. I only mention it because he clearly wants to bring it to our attention. There is so much for the midfielder to do at United and he still insists on behaving like an adolescent.

You’d have to wonder how Crooks will now react, after Pogba’s revealed he’s had a flare emoji haircut to freshen up his appearance.
