Anthony Martial rejects Man United offer
RMC Sport have confirmed on Tuesday that Anthony Martial wants to leave Man United.
Martial is under contract at Old Trafford until 2019, but the 22-year-old has signalled a clear intent to leave in the summer.
Man United offered Martial a new five year deal. But the French international has rejected the offer.
Martial is upset with his game time in the second half of the season, after Alexis Sanchez joined from Arsenal.
Man United & Tottenham fans react
If Martial leave United, could he join Tottenham?
RMC Sport listed Spurs along with Juventus and Atletico Madrid as possible destinations.
One has to suspect that Martial will court plenty of offers from other clubs too.
When it’s come to the reaction on social media, Martial has largely been supported for his decision.
Having been one of United’s better players this season (10 goals, 11 assists), fans understand his frustration after he’s dropped down the pecking order.
Is this is a situation Jose Mourinho can fix? That seems unlikely.
Reaction to the Martial ‘exit announcement’ is below.
RMC have a string of Martial exclusives from when he signed for Manchester United and throughout his time at Old Trafford, which gives a huge suggestion this is very well sourced.

With Martial though, it wouldn't surprise me if he did want to leave because he should be playing more. Too good to be on a bench.
Nevertheless, think he'll sign a new deal. All part of the negotiations.

Before you lot get all butt hurt over Martial, this isn't Martial FC first and foremost. Secondly, if you don't want to fight for your spot (AP), moan about playing time when your performance is not CONSISTENT and threaten to leave, you can go; This is Manchester United.

Antoine Griezmann leaving Atlético Madrid in the summer (to wherever) and Anthony Martial to replace him? 🤔

Martial is third choice – he’s got no choice but to leave. It’d be a shame as he’s brilliant in possession, and not being useless the rest of the time is a coaching issue as well as his issue. But if a quality right-winger replaced him it’d improve the team, given he isn’t in it.

You say Martial is overrated, I say look at the clubs he’s linked to the moment he wants a move away. Madrid, Bayern and Barcelona have front row tickets to the Martial transfer saga for a reason.

Sell Martial to Tottenham with a buy-back clause so Pochettino can bring him back in 2020.

#THFC are keeping a close eye on Anthony Martial's contract stand-off with Manchester United.
Pochettino is a massive fan of the striker and would love to make a move should the player's situation escalate, BUT United and Spurs are not on good business terms.#COYS

There's something seriously wrong at Manchester United if they let Anthony Martial go next summer. Understandably he's frustrated with lack of playing time, but he is perhaps (alongside Rashford) the only bona fide world class player-to-be at the club.
