Fans celebrate Man United & Chelsea team sheets

Man United vs Chelsea

When the team sheets came out on Sunday for the Premier League match between Man United and Chelsea fans of both sides were happy.

Some of the biggest named players in both squads were back in the starting XIs.

After Liverpool beat West Ham on Saturday, Man United have been dropped down into third in the EPL.

Chelsea are fourth, three points behind the Red Devils.

The team sheets were as follows.

Man United: De Gea; Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Young; McTominay, Matic, Pogba; Alexis, Lukaku, Martial

Subs: Pereira, Bailly, Shaw, Carrick, Mata, Lingard, Rashford

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta (c), Christensen, Rudiger; Moses, Drinkwater, Kante, Alonso; Willian, Morata, Hazard.

Subs: Caballero, Cahill, Zappacosta, Emerson, Fabregas, Pedro, Giroud.

Paul Pogba & Anthony Martial

The two names were stood out on the Man United XI were Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.

Pogba and Martial have both been rotated in recent weeks by Jose Mourinho, much to the chagrin of many supporters.

It was also worth noting that Luke Shaw, who was also omitted from the squad vs Sevilla, returned on the bench for Mourinho.

Alvaro Morata is back, Cesc Fabregas on the bench

As for Chelsea, the big news was the return of Spanish international striker Alvaro Morata in attack.

Olivier Giroud was on the bench, while Pedro also had to make do with a spot on the sidelines.

Another interesting decision from Antonio Conte was to leave Cesc Fabregas on the bench for the Old Trafford trip.

Danny Drinkwater got the nod in a more combative Chelsea midfield.
