Fan regrets promise after Bolton’s crazy win vs Nottingham Forest

Bolton Wanderers 3 – Nottingham Forest 2

It was a crazy final day of the season in the Championship.

The big story at the bottom of the league was that Bolton Wanderers managed to stay in the division.

Bolton’s survival didn’t look like happening after Nottingham Forest took a 2-1 lead in the game.

But Bolton scored two late goals to beat the drop. David Wheater levelled in the 87th minute, and sixty second later Aaron Wilbraham scored a header to put Wanderers in the lead.

As a result of Bolton’s win, Barnsley and Burton Albion dropped into League One.

Sunderland were also relegated at the foot of the table.

Fan regrets Bolton bet

As soon as Bolton’s winner went in, a fan’s tweet went viral on social media.

One supporter claimed that he’d get a tattoo of Aaron Wilbraham on his leg if the striker scored the winner to keep Bolton in the Championship.

We are staying up, say we are staying up! Never easy watching Bolton 😂😂
