Extra time conspiracy theory surfaces after Man City win, Man United lose

Man United lose to Huddersfield

In another shocking result few saw coming on Saturday in the Premier League, Man United were beaten at Huddersfield.

Manchester United extended their unbeaten run to 12 matches following Wednesday night’s 1-0 win at Benfica in the Champions League.

As for the Terriers, last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Swansea saw Huddersfield move down to 12th in the table.

David Wagner’s side came into the United game without a win in any of their last six matches.

But then they beat United 2-1!

Aaron Mooy fired Huddersfield into the lead, and a horror mistake from Victor Lindelof gifted Laurent Depoitre a second.

Marcus Rashford pulled a goal back for United, but Jose Mourinho’s men couldn’t find an equaliser.

Man City beat Burnley

As for Man City, the Sky Blues picked up another three points after a 3-0 win against Burnley.

The scoreline however didn’t tell the whole story, as Burnley competed for the majority of the game.

Moreover, the Clarets were on the receiving end of a rough call which lead to Sergio Aguero scoring from the spot.

Nicolas Otamendi’s header from a corner steadied City’s nerves in the second half.

A stunning Kevin De Bruyne through ball teed up Leroy Sane for a third.
