Tottenham left in incredibly late to score maximum points at Crystal Palace on Sunday
Having missed a hatful of chances earlier in the game Harry Kane found the breakthrough in the 89th minute.
Kane scored with a back post header following a corner.
The win lift Spurs into the top four, while Crystal Palace’s relegation fears intensified.
After the final whistle at Selhurst Park there was an incident between Dele Alli and Patrick van Aanholt.
According to eye-witness reports, Dele Alli trolled Palace’s PVA by flashing a ‘1-0’ sign after a clash.
Kane and Christian Eriksen lead Alli away from the scene as things began to get heated.
Dele Alli again attracted criticism during the Palace game for diving.
n the second half Dele Alli tried to earn his side a penalty.
Alli, who has already been booked for diving three times this Premier League, went down in the Palace box as Wayne Hennessey raced out to meet him.
Alli dived. He went down long before Hennessey touch him. And the Tottenham midfielder seemed to engineer a situation where the Palace goalie would touch him without getting the ball.
