It’s happened again.
On Sunday’s Premier League match at Selhurst Park, Dele Alli attracted a fresh wave of hate.
Tottenham were hugely frustrated against Crystal Palace as the Eagles managed to keep Spurs at bay.
In the second half Dele Alli tried to earn his side a penalty.
Alli, who has already been booked for diving three times this Premier League, went down in the Palace box as Wayne Hennessey raced out to meet him.
Alli dived. He went down long before Hennessey touch him. And the Tottenham midfielder seemed to engineer a situation where the Palace goalie would touch him without getting the ball.
As soon as Dele Alli hit the deck, fans were in uproar on social media.
Interestingly, Alli wasn’t booked for going down against the Eagles.
That’s left open the possibility of the FA taking retrospective action against the Tottenham star.
Will Dele Alli be banned for Spurs?
