Tiemoue Bakayoko & Chelsea
One of the unsung heroes for Chelsea in recent games has been French international midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Bakayoko opened his Premier League account a week ago in the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
On Saturday against Watford, Bakayoko set up Michy Batshuayi for his second goal right at the end of the match.
Bakayoko made a promise
Prior to the Crystal Palace match, Tiemoue Bakayoko spoke to the media.
The 23-year-old midfielder opened his account for his new side in the Champions League win over Qarabag, but he’d yet to score in the Premier League.
Before the Palace game, Bakayoko promised to make a major change to his look once he opened his league account. He told the Sun:
As soon as I score a goal I will change the colour of my hair. Possibly to blue. I like changing the colour of my hair from time to time.
I don’t go completely over the top, but sometimes I find it brings me good luck. Since the Man City game I put some white in my hair.
So where is the blue hair?
Against Watford, Bakayoko again turned out with his white hair.
So has the Chelsea midfielder broken his promise?
