Chelsea fans absolutely savage key man during Bournemouth win

Bournemouth 0 – Chelsea 1

Chelsea saw many of their rivals win on Saturday, besides Tottenham, and produced a fine result away at Bournemouth.

Antonio Conte’s side won 1-0 at Bournemouth thanks to a solitary goal from Eden Hazard just after half-time.

The brilliant Belgium playmaker was played through by Alvaro Morata and ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could do nothing about his near post effort.

The Blues have a massive week ahead with an away Champions League clash at Roma. Followed by Manchester United at home in one of the Premier League games of the season.

Marcos Alonso absolutely savaged on social media

During the summer, Chelsea were consistently linked with a move for Juventus left back Alex Sandro.

At the time, many Chelsea fans were surprised Antonio Conte was looking to improve on Marcos Alonso.

After all, the Spanish left wing back was a star for Chelsea as they romped to the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge.

And, Alonso started this season well, famously scoring two goals for Chelsea to secure a 2-1 away win at Wembley against Spurs.

How poor was Marcos Alonso against Bournemouth?

Yet, in recent weeks, Chelsea fans have begun to get frustrated with the performances of Marcos Alonso.

This is accentuated by the fact there is no obvious back up for Alonso in the Chelsea squad.

Against Bournemouth, some of the online criticism was seriously harsh and out of line.
