Leicester 1 – Bournemouth 1
Leicester left it late, incredibly late, before snatching a point against Bournemouth on Saturday in the Premier League.
Bournemouth took the lead in the 35th minute from the penalty spot.
Marc Albrighton took out Josh King just inside the Leicester box, and the referee instantly pointed to the spot.
King dusted himself down, put the ball (not?) on the spot, and scored.
But in the dying seconds of second half stoppage time Riyad Mahrez stepped up to save the Foxes.
The Algerian curled home a free-kick from over 25-yards out to deny Eddie Howe’s men an away win.
Riyad Mahrez saves Leicester after stoppage time
But Bournemouth fans believe they were robbed at the King Power.
That’s because the officials flashed up four minutes of stoppage time at the end of the match.
Yet, when Mahrez had the ball in the back of the Cherries net, the game was already in the 97th minute.
That led to Bournemouth fans taking to social media to complain about how they were screwed over.
Bound to be big argument about timekeeping from Bournemouth. Leicester equalised in 97th min when added time was 4 min.
