Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin seems to still be buzzing about his recent award in Spain.
Bellerin was recently crowned Catalan’s Young Player of the Year, as the Spaniard received the accolade following a superb breakthrough campaign with the Gunners.
The 20-year-old gained 57% of the vote, finishing in front of Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez (30%) and Lazio’s former Barca academy forward Keita Balde (13%).
Today, Bellerin has posted a new picture from the night on Instagram standing next to his date for the evening.
Some of the comments to the post are interesting!
Bellerin, despite not breaking into the Spanish international team, has helped Arsenal reach second spot in the league table after 12 matches, and they’re behind Manchester City only on goal difference.
The Gunners return to action this weekend with a tricky away game at The Hawthorns against West Brom. Man City, meanwhile, take on Liverpool at the Etihad in the prime time evening game on Saturday.
