Bournemouth vs Arsenal
When the team sheets were finally revealed on Sunday, Arsenal fans had a meltdown.
In the warm up to the Bournemouth game, leaks trickled out from inside the Gunners camp about the composition of the team.
Rumours made it clear that Chilean star Alexis Sanchez and German playmaker Mesut Ozil were both not involved.
And then the team sheets were announced, as follows:
Bournemouth: Begovic, Francis, Aké, Steve Cook, Lewis Cook, Gosling, Smith, Daniels, Wilson, Ibe, Fraser.
Subs: Boruc, Simpson, Surman, Arter, Pugh, Mousset, Afobe.

Alexis Sanchez & Mesut Ozil
The more worrying absentee was Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean is keen to leave the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window. And according to all reports on Sunday, the South American’s absence against the Cherries was to seal that exit.
If the rumours are true, Manchester United are ahead of Man City in the race for Alexis.
Wenger confirms an announcement on Alexis Sanchez is d"imminent", which is why hes been left out. Wont say to who though pic.twitter.com/4Rdv6gjJgZ

Mesut Ozil missed the Bournemouth game for health reasons.
The German is out with a knee injury. It’s unclear when he’ll return.
Gooners in meltdown
Arsenal won the reverse fixture back in September at the Emirates. Danny Welbeck scored a brace and Lacazette added another as the Gunners ran out 3-0 winners.
Yet that previous result gave Arsenal fans little reason for cheers on Sunday.
Cue the Arsenal meltdown.
So, no Alexis Sanchez today for #Arsenal.

People needn’t blame Sanchez either, Kroenke, Gazidis & Wenger directly and jointly responsible for the shambles that is unfolding this season.

Honestly though, if he goes to United I’m gonna be seriously annoyed.
I can cope with City, but selling to Mourinho 🤢😡

I don’t even get angry anymore when there’s news on Arsenal, I’m past that stage now, I just count down the days until Wenger is gone and someone forces Kroenke out of our club!

Wenger: Passionate defence of Alexis Sanchez's "commitment" at Chelsea on Wednesday, leaves him out of the Bournemouth squad ahead of a potential move to Manchester United four days later. Same as it ever was. #rvp #nasri #fabregas #

Alexis is little bit doubt for today, due to a small small maybe joining another club niggle.

Wenger promised we'd no longer sell our best players to Premier League rivals – remember?
So as well as being increasingly useless as a manager, he's also proven himself to be a ****ing liar. #sanchez #afc
