Arsenal start life with a new strike force
For many Arsenal fans, today is the day that the season starts again for the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger’s side play against Everton at The Emirates and they have a new front three on show.
Joining Mesut Ozil in an attacking position is Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Forget the nightmare of Swansea away, Aubameyang has arrived and it is all change from here for the Gunners.
Expect Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang to link up like they did at Borussia Dortmund, right?
What do Arsenal fans do with old Alexis Sanchez shirts?
Any time a superstar player leaves, fans of his former club are left to pick up the pieces.
Not only in terms of watching their side rebuild without their talisman, but also throwing away their old shirts.
This is the case for Arsenal fans with Alexis Sanchez number 7 shirts, of which we can only presume there are many hundreds of thousands around the globe.
One Arsenal fans has unexpectedly gone viral on Saturday, thanks to The Tollington, a north London pub close to The Emirates.
They have Tweeted a picture of one Arsenal fan who changed his “Alexis Sanchez 7 shirt” to “Alex Iwobi 17”.
You have to encourage the ingenuity here, at least said fan, who is pictured below, doesn’t waste his hard earned money on a shirt he will never wear!
Alex Iwobi starts for Arsenal against Everton today and could well emerge as a key player for the Gunners in the coming years.
Right now, there seems little doubt that Alex Iwobi is not leaving Arsenal, so the shirt works!
