Man United vs Southampton
Southampton begin life after Virgil Van Dijk on Saturday at Old Trafford.
But the Saints have readied themselves for VVD’s departure for a few weeks.
Van Dijk missed defeats against Chelsea and Tottenham, plus a 1-1 draw away at Huddersfield.
During the Boxing Day loss at Wembley, Southampton fans sung for Mauricio Pellegrino to get the sack.
The Saints are winless in seven games, but Man United have also dropped off the pace.
After a 2-2 draw against Leicester, United only drew 2-2 with Burnley on in midweek.
Anthony Martial injury update
One of the shocks during the Man United vs Burnley match was the absence of Anthony Martial from Jose Mourinho’s squad.
There was no indication in the run up to the Burnley game that Martial would be axed from the squad.
However reports filtered out the Martial was forced out of the Burnley game with a knee injury.

On Thursday Man United fans have received an Anthony Martial injury update.
The French forward was back at Man United training on Thursday.
That suggests he’s again available for the Southampton game this weekend.

Staying with the Man United team news, Marcos Rojo is suspended after collecting five bookings in five matches.
Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly are all out of contention with injuries.
Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia are both doubts.
