2018 World Cup
It’s Sunday, which means it’s just five days until the 2018 World Cup kicks off in Russia.
On Thursday Russia will take on Saudi Arabia in the opening game of the tournament.
Friday will see the second match in group A take place. Uruguay, who finished second in the South American World Cup qualifying campaign, will face north Africans Egypt.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is back
On Saturday night in Cairo, Egyptian fans got the boost they’ve been looking for.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was back in training ahead of the World Cup.
Salah, who was injured by Sergio Ramos as Liverpool lost the Champions League final, has been struggling with his shoulder injury.
But Salah, with a broad smile on his face, was back on the pitch this weekend.
Indeed, Egpyt’s official Instagram account celebrated the moment with the following message: The legend is ready!
The assumption is that Salah will be fit for all three Egypt group games in Russia this summer.
