Alexandre Pato celebrates new Chelsea number on Instagram

It seems hugely unlikely that Alexandre Pato will play any part in Chelsea’s game at Watford this evening.

The Brazilian is not quite fit enough having not played since November but conceivably good make the Chelsea substitutes bench.

On Tuesday, Chelsea handed squad numbers to both Pato and Matt Miazga, the other Blues January signing, a defender from New York Red Bulls.

Pato was handed the number 11 shirt, formerly worn by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

Meanwhile, Miazga will wear the number 20 shirt at Chelsea but also seems super unlikely to play much and could well be loaned out in the coming weeks.

Pato took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to celebrate his new shirt and posted a picture, as can be seen below.

Perhaps if Pato does not appear this evening, a place on the substitutes bench could beckon for the mouthwatering clash with Manchester United on Sunday?

Back Chelsea to win at Watford at whopping odds of 6/1!

My favorite number… #11 #P11
