Viewers of the clash between Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion have tonight taken to Twitter in their droves to praise Nacer Chadli for his stunning free-kick.
The Foxes and Baggies went head to head in a Premier League matchup at the King Power Stadium this evening, with Craig Shakespeare’s side having endured a hugely disappointing start to the season.
The 2015/16 champions had picked up just 5 points from their opening 7 Premier League fixtures, sitting in a lowly 18th place in the English top-flight.
West Brom, meanwhile, had looked typically solid/unspectacular to this point, sitting in 11th in the league table with 9 points to their name.
A dismal opening 45 minutes was played out between the sides, with chances few and far between, before one moment of quality after the interval lit up the King Power.
After Riyad Mahrez had shortly before missed a golden opportunity to give the home side the lead, West Brom were awarded a free-kick 30 yards from goal.
Former Spurs star Nacer Chadli stood over the ball for the Baggies, though a direct strike at goal looked a difficult proposition for a right-footed player, based on the angle presented.
However, the position of the set-piece proved of little concern for Belgian wide-man Chadli, who proceeded to smash a sumptuous dipping strike over the wall and past the rooted Kasper Schmeichel in the Leicester goal.
Social media users were certainly impressed, with some of the best reaction below:

If Eden Hazard can improve his finishing, he could be up there with the likes of Nacer Chadli

Riyad Mahrez made up for his earlier miss with a quality finish in the 80th minute, before the game petered out for a 1-1 stalemate.
