Bad luck Chambo
Since joining Liverpool at the end of the summer transfer window, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has yet to be on the winning side.
Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup third round match at the King Power saw Chamberlain make his first start for the club.
Before his move, Chamberlain was part of the Arsenal side that lost 4-0 at Liverpool.
Somewhat ironically, he then made his Liverpool debut by coming on as a substitute in a 5-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Since Chamberlain left the Gunners, Arsenal Wenger’s side have recorded two wins and a draw against champions Chelsea.
Since then, Jurgen Klopp’s side have drawn 2-2 with Sevilla and 1-1 with Burnley and lost again tonight at Leicester.
To be fair to the Reds, Liverpool fielded a much-changed side, although Philippe Coutinho started.
Out the cup
Shinji Okazaki opened the scoring for Craig Shakespeare’s side before a brilliant goal from Islam Slimani doubled Leicester’s lead.
Liverpool will have the opportunity to take revenge for tonight’s defeat, and nobody will be more eager for that then Chamberlain.
Coincidentally, the two sides face each other at the King Power again in the Premier League on Saturday.

The League Cups always been a platform for youngsters/reserve players to get a chance, so it's a big opportunity for Ox Chamberlain tonight
