West Brom vs Man United
It was all rather too easy for Man United on Sunday at the Hawthorns in the first half.
The second half was a slightly different story.
Alan Pardew continues to wait for his first win with West Brom following a defeat to Jose Mourinho’s men.
The writing was on the wall for the goal-shy Baggies once Romelu Lukaku opened midway through the first half.
The Belgian scored for the second game running with a fine header against his former team.

Jesse Lingard doubled United’s lead before the break with a deflected shot from the edge of the box.
Gareth Barry pulled a goal back in the second half.
Antonio Valencia is injured
Just after the hour mark Man United were hit by a big blow.
Antonio Valencia is undoubtedly United’s star right back, however the Red Devils may now be without their South American defender.
Valencia was forced off the pitch as Marcos Rojo came off the bench to replace him.
It looked as if Valencia had damaged his hamstring. That could mean he’s out of action for two to three weeks.
If also worth noting that Eric Bailly is a long term absenetee for United. The Ivory Coast defender is likely to be sidelined until February at the earliest.
SCOUT: Concern for Valencia’s 17.6% owners as he limps off. However, he will earn points for a clean sheet as the score was 2-0 when he was replaced on 65 minutes #WBAMUN #FPL pic.twitter.com/3mPdaMi2YK

Antonio Valencia down injured. Considering his body is made out of steel and granite, you'd have to assume it's a bad one.

Valencia does his hamstring & Mourinho calls for Marcos Rojo, a man who needs his head to be taped together before going onto the pitch, ahead of Luke Shaw… #mufc

Bristol City & Leicester City
The hectic December fixture list continues in earnest this week for Man United.
In midweek United take on Championship side Bristol City in the quarterfinals of the League Cup.
Next weekend it’s back to Premier League action for Man United as they head to Leicester City.
Man United close 2017 with two home matches against Burnley and Southampton.
Antonio Valencia off with a hamstring injury – big shame. Expect Young to fill-in at right-back if he’s absent for a few games which could potentially be a route back into the first team for Luke Shaw.

Antonio Valencia is off with a hamstring injury. Big blow to United. Timothy Fosu-Mensah recall in January is needed now no doubt about it.
