The latest England squad

The latest international break is set to get underway next week.

England will kick-off their break on Thursday the 14th of November vs Montenegro.

Gareth Southgate’s side will then face off with Kosovo on Sunday the 17th of November.

England begin the break sat top of their Euro 2020 qualifying group.

The Three Lions have amassed 15 points from their first six qualifiers, winning five and losing one.

The Czech Republic are currently England’s closest competition for top spot in the group. They have 12 points from six games.

Southgate would name his latest England squad for the upcoming qualifiers earlier this week.

Some big names, including the likes of Dele Alli and Kyle Walker, were once again omitted, with John Stones making a return to the squad.

Henderson to replace Heaton

Southgate once again named three goalkeepers in his squad. Those players were Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope and Tom Heaton.

But, as was the case during the last international break, Tom Heaton looks to be pulling out of the England squad.

Heaton was absent from Aston Villa’s matchday squad on Sunday, when they faced off with Wolves.

The Telegraph, meanwhile, have since reported on Sunday that Heaton has now pulled out of the England squad.

The report from the Telegraph claims that Heaton suffered an unspecified injury in Villa training on Saturday.

Sheffield United’s Dean Henderson is expected to step up and replace the Villa man, as per the Telegraph.
