It appears the pressure on Real Madrid has made its way onto Los Blanco’s training ground.
Slumping to a 2-1 defeat against Levante on Saturday, Madrid have now lost four of their last five matches in all competitions.
On Tuesday, the defending Champions League winners will welcome Viktoria Plzen to the Bernabeu in a match that could decide Julen Lopetegui’s future.
To make matters worse, Madrid’s captain, Sergio Ramos, has once again come under heavy scrutiny for his attitude in Monday’s training session.
Following an accidental collision with academy product Sergio Reguilón, the Spanish international proceeded to fire the ball at the youngster on two occasions.
While playing handball during training today, an over-excited Reguilon caught Sergio Ramos’ nose with a flying shoulder. Not the behaviour you would expect to see from your captain and least of all towards a youngster pic.twitter.com/E8gE28AEwy

A side that finds the pressure on them at an all-time high, this was the last thing Lopetegui would have wanted to come out of their training session.
Unsurprisingly, the 32-year-old was quick to publically apologize for his altercation with the 21-year-old.
Aunque no os lo parezca, son situaciones bastante habituales, pero no es excusa, mi reacción no debió ser esa.
Nosotros siempre vamos a full, ¿verdad, Regui? ¡¡Al final victoria del equipo juntos @sergio_regui!! 😜🤥😜🤥

For those who can not read Spanish, the Tweet read:
“Although it may not seem like it, they are quite common situations, but it is not an excuse, my reaction should not have been that.
“We always go full-on, right, Regui? In the end, team victory together.
“Done. On to tomorrow’s game.”
While Ramos may have been quick to play the incident down, many were left outraged by the actions of Madrid’s skipper.
Social media reaction
Hardly a fan favourite to anyone away from the Bernabeu, Ramos was quickly on the end of a Twitter backlash.
Absolutely disgusting what Ramos did to Reguilón in training. You are a senior and captain of this team, Reguilón is just an academy kid. Didn’t expect this from him honesty.

This is definitely the type of behavior you’d expect from your captain if his name was Sergio Ramos.
I’m not surprised.
This is the same guy who got red carded for trying to break Messi’s leg and then fought with Xavi & Puyol afterwards. An incredibly sore loser. https://t.co/Tewo17qnQ1

Disgusting from Sergio Ramos. Full apology needed as there is absolutely no getting away from it at all. It’s remarkable a captain of a club can behave like this. https://t.co/S4tpnk9jdm

A youngster at Real Madrid accidentally hit Sergio Ramos during a handball game.
Sergio Ramos then slammed him with the ball like a sore toddler twice.
Scum captain for a scum club. pic.twitter.com/DrtqRt0HUt
