Manchester City vs Leicester

Every Liverpool fan will be supporting Leicester on Monday night when the Foxes take on Man City.

Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League following a 3-2 win at Newcastle on Saturday.

But the title still remains in City’s hands. If the Sky Blues beat Leicester, and then win away at Brighton on the final day of the season, they’ll retain their Premier League crown.

Can Leicester spring a surprise?

The Foxes beat Man City 2-1 at the King Power Stadium already this season.

Completing the three-man City attack, Leroy Sane is expected to be deployed down the left-hand side.

Other points of note include Oleksandr Zinchenko starting, while David and Bernardo Silva are set to be joined by Ilkay Gundogan in the middle of the park.

Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson on Leicester

The Guardian on Monday have fresh quotes from Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson before Man City vs Leicester.

Henderson confirmed that the Liverpool players will tune in to Monday Night Football, saying:

The lads will watch Monday’s game and, yeah, pray for a miracle. City are a great team but so are we.

Whoever gets the title will deserve it. We couldn’t have done any more. We can’t have any regrets.

It’s going to the last game and we need to finish on a high at Anfield – [against Wolves on Sunday] – and pray that something, a miracle, can happen.
