Cottagers fight back
Parker’s comments come on the back of another impressive Fulham display on Wednesday night.
The capital outfit, who, early in the campaign, appeared primed for a swift return to the Championship, have looked markedly improved over recent weeks.
Their latest outing, 24 hours ago, came in the form of a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for a derby showdown with Spurs.
And, when all was said and done in north London, the visitors fought back from a goal down, to make it five straight unbeaten in the Premier League.
Harry Kane opened the evening’s scoring with 25 minutes on the clock, but, amid a spirited display, Fulham eventually drew level 15 minutes from time, through Ivan Cavaleiro.
Tottenham dropped more points in their pursuit of the Premier League pacesetters as Ivan Cavaleiro scored a late equaliser for Fulham in a 1-1 draw.

Central to Fulham’s fightback versus Spurs, meanwhile, was Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The English international impressed versus QPR in the FA Cup over the weekend, before being rewarded for his showing with a 2nd-straight start by Scott Parker on Wednesday night.
And Loftus-Cheek certainly didn’t let his manager down, showcasing the kind of immense talent which it has long been common knowledge he possesses, to prove a thorn in the side of Jose Mourinho’s backline throughout the 90 minutes.
In turn, Parker, as outlined above, has since been quick to heap praise on the 24-year-old, revealing his opinion that, when firing on all cylinders, RLC remains a ‘top player’:
‘I thought he was exceptional last night, I thought he was top. A player we all understand the quality he has. He’s not played a lot of football for some time and last night and the last few weeks seeing a player with not just massive potential, that word has surrounded Ruben for some time, I think we’re seeing every bit of a top player and a Chelsea player. We’re pleased to have him amongst us and hopefully he’ll keep performing and getting better.’

Unfortunately for Fulham, however, they will not be permitted to make use of their in-form midfielder’s talents when they return to the pitch in 48 hours’ time.
The Londoners’ next outing will see them welcome Chelsea to Craven Cottage on Saturday evening, for a Premier League clash.
With Loftus-Cheek on loan from the Blues, however, as reaffirmed today, he will be ineligible to feature in the matchup:
Unfortunately, the Chelsea loanee is unable to line-up against his parent club.
