Maurizio Sarri offers injury update ahead of Chelsea vs Man City

Chelsea update vs Man City

Chelsea have no injury concerns ahead of their game against Manchester City.

The Blues face City on Saturday, and have Eden Hazard, Marcos Alonso and co all fit and available.

Long term absentee Victor Moses could feature, and there are no concerns over Ross Barkley.

Manager Maurizio Sarri also played down concerns over left back Alonso, saying he isn’t tired.

Wins are key

It’s not the best time for Chelsea to face the league leaders.

Not only are the Blues coming off the back of a poor run of form, but City are flying.

Pep Guardiola’s men have raised the bar from last season, and look even better.

Being pushed for the title by Liverpool seems to have elevated them – and their defence is also far better than last season.

Chelsea meanwhile are struggling, with questions over their defence, ability to score goals and the form of N’Golo Kante.

It’s a huge task for Sarri, a manager notorious for failing to rotate in big games – and if his midfield gets bypassed much like against Spurs, Chelsea will find themselves on the losing end again.
