Santi Cazorla sends message to Arteta’s Arsenal stars after win over Fulham

The Spaniard is revelling in the success being enjoyed by his ex-club


Former Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has taken to social media on Saturday evening, to send a message to his one-time employers.

Mikel Arteta’s troops of course marked their return to action a short time ago.

On the back of a stellar opening to the new campaign, the Gunners welcomed capital rivals Fulham to the Emirates, hopeful of making it 12 Premier League points from 12.

And, when all was said and done, emerge triumphant once more is precisely what Arsenal managed.

After an untimely scare in the form of Aleksandar Mitrovic’s opener early in the 2nd-half, the evening’s hosts soon came roaring back, levelling things up through Martin Odegaard, before bagging what proved the eventual winner when Gabriel Magalhaes finished from close range five minutes from time.

Arsenal, in turn, remain in sole ownership of top spot in the Premier League table, with a perfect record to this point in the campaign.

And, as alluded to above, one individual who appears to be particularly keen to see such fine form on the part of Arteta’s side continue over the weeks and months to come, is Santi Cazorla.

Taking to his official Instagram account a short time ago, ex-Gunners standout Cazorla sent a personal message to all on the red half of north London, urging them to ‘keep going’:
