Salah to review Liverpool future next summer after rejecting £150m exit – Mirror

Salah shines for Liverpool again

Mohamed Salah has been one of Liverpool’s standout stars since making the switch from AS Roma back in 2017.

During his first season back in the Premier League, Salah would score 44 and assist 16 in 52 appearances across all competitions.

Salah’s 2018/19 season was not quite as outstanding. But he still managed to net 27 and assist 13 in 52 appearances.

The Egyptian also won the Premier League Golden Boot award. He shared the prize with Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

And of course, Salah would lift the 2019 Champions League trophy, scoring the opener as Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Tottenham 2-0 in the competition’s final.

Juventus & Real Madrid interested in Salah

Despite having had two superb seasons on Merseyside, though, Salah may not be at Liverpool for too much longer.

According to the Mirror, Salah has rejected the chance to leave Anfield this summer, with Real Madrid and Juventus both reportedly having £150 million bids lined up for the attacker.

While Salah is apparently staying put this summer, however, the Mirror claim that Salah has told Liverpool’s higher-ups that he will review his future next summer.

Given the fact that Real Madrid have already been pretty busy in the transfer market this summer anyway, signing the likes of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy, FFP would probably not allow Los Blancos to also sign Salah this window.
