Ryan Sessegnon to reject new Fulham deal amid Man United interest

Will Ryan Sessegnon be in the Premier League next season?

Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon will reject a new deal with the Cottagers amid interest from both Manchester United and Tottenham.

Sessegnon has been considered one of the brightest talents in England for some time now.

The Englishman impressed in the Championship two years ago before making the step up to the Premier League last season.

The 19-year-old was unable to replicate his success at a higher level, though, scoring two goals and assisting six.

However, that hasn’t stopped Manchester United and Tottenham from wanting to sign the youngster.

It was recently reported that Spurs are ‘increasingly confident’ of landing Sessegnon.

It was then reported that Manchester United are also interested, as are Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig.

Now, Sessegnon is looking even more likely to leave this summer, after informing Fulham that he will not sign a new deal.

According to Sky Sports in their transfer live blog, Sessegnon will not sign a new deal at Fulham.

Their report claims that ‘Ryan Sessegnon has told Fulham he will not be signing a new contract offered to him by the club, Sky Sports News understands’.

That will certainly give both Tottenham and Man United hope of landing him this summer.

According to Sky, his departure ‘looks certain’ after Fulham’s relegation.

Not only that, but he already has a preferred destination.

Despite Man United having made contact with Fulham, Sky claim that ‘we understand his preferred destination is Spurs though there hasn’t been contact between the clubs’.
