Ryan Fraser injury fears before Everton vs Bournemouth

Everton vs Bournemouth

Everton host Bournemouth at Goodison Park on Sunday in the Premier League.

A win would be a big boost for both of these clubs, who have fallen off the pace in recent times.

Everton are 11th in the league with 27 points.

For the record, that’s the exact same number of points which Everton had on the board at this stage last season.

Have the club really pushed on since the days of Sam Allardyce?

Bournemouth are 12th in the division, also on 27 points. The Cherries are below Everton on goal difference.

Eddie Howe’s men are sliding down the league, while they come into this weekend’s match with three defeats in their last four matches.

Bournemouth have conceded 15 goals in that bad run of results.

Ryan Fraser injury update

When it comes to Bournemouth’s star players this season Ryan Fraser is at the top of the list.

Fraser is enjoying a wonderful season on the south coast.

The 24-year-old Scottish winger has five goals in the Premier League, plus nine assists.

But will Fraser be available for the Everton match?

Eddie Howe decided to play Fraser for 90 minutes last weekend in the 3-1 FA Cup home defeat to Brighton.

The manager may now be regretting that call as Fraser has a calf problem.

In brighter news for the Cherries, Josh King, Callum Wilson, Dan Gosling and Nathan Ake are all set to be fit and ready for the Everton game.
