Arsenal dealt transfer blow

Reported Arsenal target Ryan Fraser has admitted that it’s likely he will remain a Bournemouth player for another season.

Fraser performed incredibly in the last campaign with the Cherries.

Despite playing for a mid-table side, Fraser scored seven goals and assisted 14 in the Premier League, an impressive return for any player outside the top six!

As a result of his performances, Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Scotsman.

It was reported back in May that Arsenal would make their move for Fraser after the Europa League final.

However, there has been no such move since the loss to Chelsea two weeks ago.

Now, Ryan Fraser has given an update on his future.

“The likelihood is I will be at Bournemouth for another year”

Fraser has admitted this week that it’s likely he will remain a Bournemouth player for another year.

“The likelihood is I will be at Bournemouth for another year,” Fraser explained, as quoted by the Mirror.

“And what will happen, will happen. That is all I can really say about it.

“No one has really spoken to me about it.”

The Mirror’s report suggests that Arsenal ‘were hoping they could prise Fraser away with a £30m bid’ but ‘Fraser, however, appears loyal towards the club he has served since 2013’.

Only time will tell if a move still happens this summer, but judging by Fraser’s comments, it looks pretty unlikely.
