Crystal Palace ended Leicester City’s fine run of form to continue their own resurgence.
Goals from Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako sealed Palace a huge three points.
Remarkably, the Eagles have flown into 14th place in the Premier League.
FT: Leicester City 0-3 Crystal Palace
Roy Hodgson’s Palace stunned a resurgent Leicester City, as the Eagles secured their first three points away from home this season.
Christian Benteke’s opener helped Palace avoid an unwanted top-flight record by scoring their first away goal of the season.
The goal avoided them becoming the team to have gone the longest without an away goal in English top-flight history.
Five minutes from the end of the half, Zaha doubled the Eagles’ lead, as Benteke provided the 25-year-old with a wonderful assist.
Prior to kick-off, this was Hodgson’s incredible record in charge of Crystal Palace…

Twitter reacts to win
Roy Hodgson has done an incredible thing with this group of players.
I can’t quite believe it.
No Sakho, no Luka, Kelly at RB and we’ve gone 7 unbeaten with a 3-0 win away from home.
Wow. Wow. Wow.

Hope Roy Hodgson starts getting the credit he deserves for quietly turning #CPFC around too.
And at the risk of banging on about it – Wilfried Zaha is an absolute gem.

It’s almost like all Fulham and West Brom fans were right along and Roy Hodgson is a brilliant manager.

Roy Hodgson is the closest thing the Premier League has to another Guardiola if we’re being real. Teams fighting relegation shouldn’t play football as good as theirs.
