Crystal Palace vs Tottenham
Crystal Palace host Tottenham on Sunday in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
Palace progressed to the 4th round by beating Grimsby 1-0 while Tottenham smashed Tranmere 7-0.
Crystal Palace are not on the best run of form recently and have won just one of their last five league games.
However, the Eagles normally fare quite well against the big clubs.
Palace have already beaten Man City 3-2 this season and came close to getting something from their 4-3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
As for Tottenham, they have been knocked out of the League Cup this week and will be keen to ensure the same does not happen on Sunday.
However, Tottenham will still be without the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli.
Crystal Palace injury update
Crystal Palace will also be without a few key players for the FA Cup tie.
Palace will still be without both Wayne Hennessey and Vicente Guaita between the sticks.
Hodgson has also confirmed that Pape Souare remains sidelines with a shoulder injury.
However, both Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham are said to be recovering well:
“The only other injury we have to worry about apart from the two goalkeepers who are recovering and making good progress is Pape Souare, who dislocated his shoulder and is expected to be out for a fairly lengthy period of time. I can’t put a timescale on it.
“Others are coming along well. Connor and Chris have been training all week. Doing as much as they can possibly do at this stage in their comeback.” As quoted by Crystal Palace’s official website.
Roy Hodgson provided an injury update and commented on Lucas Perri’s arrival ahead of the Spurs game.
